January Update #3

Hiiii, everyone!! ( ノ^ω^)ノ゚

It’s been a pretty productive week for me, even despite the fact hat I got really sidetracked yesterday and spent two hours searching for names and even more time drawing a new character and writing their story down. Sometimes this kind of stuff is just so fun that I can’t stop myself and invest time I actually don’t have in projects that are still far off! It’s the sort of genre I’d really love to work on right now, but I’m a single little dev and there’s already too much to do as it is… “orz (Oh, and I started drawing another fanart of Ouma-sama from Danganronpa V3. If NISA doesn’t hurry up and announces the western release date sometime soon, the suspense will probably kill me… *sigh*)

Anyway! In case you haven’t seen, the Hyoukyo Mirror bonus page has been finished and was posted on Thursday! You can find it over here or on Tapastic! I found a name for the new manga project as well and it’s another beautifully weird mix-up of Japanese and English. You probably know the drill by know! In case you’re wondering why there was no teaser like I’d planned, let’s just say I still need to ponder how to go about things. As it stands now, I’m not sure when I’ll be able to upload the first pages, since I want to accumulate some buffer first… but on the other hand, I don’t want to keep everyone waiting too long, so yeah. Hmmm. (・・。)ゞ

I did quite a bit work for Tenkei Tales I: Levellia as well!! So let’s look at the progress!

It doesn’t look too impressive at first glance… but there’s a reason for that. The total CG count has been increased from the originally planned 8 to… 12. That’s why the “New CGs” bar only crept forward very slightly. There isn’t even that much of a reason to do this… other than “It’s fun drawing these scenes” and “I want the number of CGs to be even because that’d look nicer in the bonus room gallery”. ;;

Another thing I’ve been working on were four new maps I’ll need right at the beginning of the game. The cellar is now accessible! In the previous version, the player was informed at the top of the stairs that the door is locked and couldn’t progress any further. But now, you can finally take a look into the dark depths below, where undead chimeras lurk and–… wait, wrong game. :’D But rest assured that the cellar is still important, even without monsters! And the path leading southeast (or, in actual in-game graphics, simply east) can be accessed now as well. Maybe you want to visit the neighbors? You can even see their (still unfinished) house in the preview pic!

Alrighty, it’s laaaaate and I’m going to quickly note something and call it a day.
Thank you for reading and have a great week!! (。・ω・。)
